All churches in the USA are tax exempt regardless of whether they have actually applied for the status or not. To qualify for tax-exempt status, the organization must meet the following requirements (covered in greater detail throughout this publication): n the organization must be organized and operated exclusively for religious, educational, scientific or other charitable purposes; n net earnings may not inure to the benefit of any private individual or shareholder; n no substantial part of its activity may be attempting to influence legislation; n the organization may not intervene in political campaigns; and n the organization’s purposes and activities may not be illegal or violate fundamental public policy. Recognition of Tax-Exempt Status Automatic Exemption for Churches Churches that meet the requirements of IRC Section 501(c)(3) are automatically considered tax exempt and are not required to apply for and obtain recognition of tax-exempt status from the IRS. Although there is no requirement to do so, many churches seek recognition of tax-exempt status from the IRS because this recognition assures church leaders, members and contributors that the church is recognized as exempt and qualifies for related tax benefits. I am going to start to record my Spiritual Warfare teachings and add them to the page over the next few days. I may not get another chance to actually teach this vital lesson.

We tried to set up a donation giving thingy through FaceBook HOWEVER even though the IRS doesn't require churches to apply for a 501c3 as they are automatically classified as such, Facebook refuses to let us set it up because we do not have a piece of paper stating that we are 501c3. I even sent them a copy of the IRS code and the fact that we are recognized by Guidestar (which FB claim to use as its requirement) as a legitimate nonprofit. So we are back to begging through our PayPal account. Here is an exert from the first part of the seminar, _____________________ Part 1: True Believers What is the true Christian foundation? Many Christians today seems to be lost when it comes to an anchorage point. Today we are taught to have faith in our faith, to seek the new move of the ‘spirit’ and to chase after the new wine. Many will tell us that we are little gods and we can have everything because heaven is on the earth now. Some claim that they themselves have new truth delivered straight from the throne room of heaven. What exactly do we believe in today? Who should we listen to? Is it faith that we hold onto to or praise or worship? Maybe we need to seek more guidance from our ministers or maybe the sermons will hold the answer? Or maybe we need to follow this new move of the ‘Spirit’? Some follow this idea, some that, but in the end, what do we hold onto? JESUS!! There is only one God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We are not ever nor can we be gods. Remember the lie Satan told Eve. “Eat of this fruit and you will be like God.” (Gen 3:4). Also, there is nothing new under heaven. (Eccl 1:9). Nor should we follow after anyone that says I have been shown a new thing. Joseph Smith started the Mormon Church with this lie and so has every guru and false teacher since. We must understand who it is we follow and why. What He has done for us and why? Once we have accepted the Lord Jesus as our Lord and God we cannot turn back to whence we have come. He is the only anchorage (Heb 6:19) in the rough seas of today’s lifestyle. Without Him we can do nothing and through Him we can do it all. (Phil 4:13) Jesus is the true foundation and cornerstone of our faith. We must look to Christ and Christ alone for the answers. If you are grounded in your faith and it has been tried and tested, then and only then can you search for the Spiritual truths that lie waiting for you. But first you must be grounded in the Lord or you will get swept away by the false doctrines of this world. Matt 6:33 Seek first the kingdom of God and His Righteousness, then all these things shall be added unto you. A banker friend of mine once told me that she spent a full week at a seminar learning how to discover forgeries. I asked her how she could tell the difference and she replied that the only way was to study the genuine notes and get to know them inside out. THE SAME APPLIES TO THE TRUTH OF THE BIBLE. Unless we know and believe the word of God we can be open to false doctrines and false spirits. Hosea 4:6 says “my people perish through lack of knowledge.” Our foundation is in Jesus Christ alone. He is the chief cornerstone of our faith and the head of the church. Heb 6:19This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, 20where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. There are many scriptures that speak of Christ as the chief cornerstone, the stone that was rejected. Psalm 118:21 - 24 (NKJV) 21 I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation. 22 The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. 23 This was the LORD’S doing; It is marvellous in our eyes. 24 This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. Isaiah 28:16 (NKJV) 16Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; Whoever believes will not act hastily. Matthew 21:42 (NKJV) (Mark 12:10, Luke 20:17,) 42Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the LORD’s doing, And it is marvellous in our eyes’? But let each one take heed how he builds on it. 11For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. Ephesians 2:19 - 22 (NKJV) 19Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. The Holy Bible, New King James Version 1 Peter 2:4-10 (NKJV) 4Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, 5you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.” 7Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone,” 8and “A stone of stumbling And a rock of offence.” They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed. 9But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light; 10who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. O do need to put up a new message onto our youtube channel and more than likely will be doing that in a few days. Until then CTCC still needs support from people who want to see true biblical preaching still taught. I will be honest there have been times lately when I wonder why we preachers of righteousness and truth bother. It seems that those who push the false gospels, mislead Christians and teach a worldly gospel are more financially rewarded than those of us who want to see people saved, healed and delivered. The things I could do with $100 million a year (Benny Hinn and Joyce Meyers ministries income) and the people we could actually help instead of buying mansions, jets and jewellery. God will judge and sadly many people who hear their messages and think they are saved will find themselves wondering why they got left behind. God bless you all and Maranatha.
